The cardiological consultation is the entry point for your care at the IMPACT Cardiovasculaire centre. It includes a thorough history of your symptoms and medical background, a complete clinical examination (auscultation, blood pressure, heart rate) and an ECG. At the end of the consultation, your cardiologist provides you with a detailed report including the diagnosis, therapeutic recommendations and a personalised follow-up plan.
The cardiologist collects your medical history, symptoms, personal and family background, current treatments and cardiovascular risk factors.
Cardiac and pulmonary auscultation, blood pressure measurement, peripheral pulse palpation. An ECG is systematically performed during the consultation.
Your cardiologist explains their conclusions, provides you with a complete report and prescribes further examinations if required (Holter, echocardiogram, sleep study).
